Sin City's UNDERTOW Movie Screening February 2, 2005

At the end of December 2004, Sin City announced a contest where visitors to the Undertow website were asked to answer a series of questions and fill out a form to enter a chance to win some outstanding prizes. The winners were announced at a private screening of the movie which took place at the offices of Sin City Entertainment on February 2. First Prize winner was Frank Severino of Las Vegas who won a trip to Hawaii, Runner-up Michael Jacobs of Seattle won a trip to L.A. where he will be invited on a Sin City set, Bryan Thorpe of Joplin, MO won an mp3 player, Tiye Peterson of Greenwich, CT will receive a full year of Sin City Ultra Titles, and David Akerman of Pensacola, FL will receive a selection of Sin City titles. Sin City announced that, in addition to the five fabulous top prize giveaways, everyone who entered the contest with a valid email address will receive a free VOD title for a month of their choice just for being a part of the contest. That's a $9.99 value being passed out to over 150,000 people! I was invited to the screening and was looking forward to the event, since I had been present on August 12, 2004 while some of the scenes were being shot (See my on-the-set report.) In addition to the screening, we were also treated to lots of good food, soft drinks, copies of the movie and posters from the movie. Present at the screening were Hannah Harper, Aurora Snow, pulicist Devan Cypher, Jay from Porno News Network and Mr Marcus, who wasn't in the movie but stopped by.
