What could be worse than arriving at a party and finding that your camera battery is dead! It's no April Fool's joke. Lucky for me, I ran into Chef Jeff of KSEXradio fame, who offered to loan me one of the two cameras he had brought. Press photographers and reporters far outnumbered Industry stars. The adult press was represented by Chef Jeff (TheIndustryVoice.com and KSEXradio), Wankus (AdultFYI.com and KSEXradio), Gordon (various media), Dominic (PR for Baby Doll Pictures and Cherry Boxxx Pictures), Duke Hunter (TheHarcoreSource.com) and Steve Nelson (AINews.com). Although few of the expected stars showed up, that didn't mean there weren't a zillion people there; it was actually pretty crowded at times. And, there were a lot of very good-looking women to please the eyes of the many onlookers. There was a large dance floor and very good, albeit blaring, music to gyrate to. The decibel level, I'm sure, exceeding the recommendations of audiologists everywhere. You had to scream at the top of your lungs to be heard. Someone should start working on high-fashion hearing aids, because the current club-attending crowd is certain to need them in the near future. Although the organizers of X-Con were told they'd have the place to themselves, it turned out there was another party planned, too. I was told it was Nicky Hilton's party, but I didn't see her. She may have come after I left. Security guards were stationed by a raised area next to the dance floor that had tables and chairs, and the guests for Nicky's party had blue wrist bands. Although the guard wasn't supposed to let anyone in that area without a blue wristband, he graciously allowed me free access to this so-called VIP area. A couple of girls--who may be friends of Nicky's--had no problem posing for my camera, even though I told them it was for an adult site. The Adult Industry celebs who did show up were Pamela Peaks, Olivia O'Lovely, Shay Sights and Annie Body. At least, that was all I recognized. There was also a very attractive Asian girl who could have been Charmane Star or Kaylani Lei. Wankus was conducting interviews that were played live on the air on the KSEXradio show Temptation, hosted by Lorrainiac and Cuzz Fucker. Thanks again, Jeff, for allowing me to use your camera.
