I love X-Con because of the venue. The Entertanium Studios makes it so unique--a far cry from overcrowded hotel ballrooms or convention centers with numbered rows. Someone's space might be a dining booth, or a room with a bunch of beds in it, or a big huge round bed. Each adult star had an interesting area and some moved around to better display their wares or to visit with fans.

A good description for this event would be "It's the most unconventional convention." It's all spread out into many different rooms. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. There was a good turnout of stars and an equally good turnout of fans, although I would like to see even greater support for this event in the future.

Layla Jade and others put a lot of hard work into creating this opportunity for fans to have a good time and for adult stars to be able to make some money selling photos and videos. Nina Hartley did a wonderful job as emcee. She apologized that there could be no nudity there as she said she'd be happy to show some skin if she could.

Avy Scott was amazing. She posed a long time in this one room for so many people and was so sweet and friendly to everyone. All the stars were really outstanding. Here is a listing of those I recall: Amber Peach, Avy Scott, Nina Hartley, Annie Body, Cumisha Amado, Michelle Lay, Vandalia, Lisa Sparxxx, Rio Mariah, Maria the Snake Babe, Bunni Baker, Rubee Tuesday, Violet Blue, Ashley Long, Nicole Sheridan, Voodoo, Kinzie Kenner, Chef Jeff, Tommy Gunn, a couple girls from Paradise Showgirls, Jeannie Pepper, Olivia O'Lovely, Stevi Secret, Pamela Peaks, Selena Silver, Shayna Knight, Mickey G, and Victoria Givens. My friend Dino got pictures of a few of the girls I didn't know: Ajay, Lynn Lemae and Zenova Braedon.

One of the evening's highlights was when Nina demonstrated the proper way to spank someone, and Annie Body volunteered to be the "spankee." Nina sat in a chair and Annie laid across her knees. Nina would softly stroke Annie's bottom in a circular motion before she delivered the slap. Many people gathered in front of the stage for this demonstration.

Some other highlights included a guy named Mike doing body painting and a display of lifesize standees with the likenesses of some beautiful women.

I saw Tod Hunter (tod-hunter.net), DCypher (hardcoregossip.com), and Wayne Hentai (who does PR for Madness Pictures and Private USA) and many others representing the media. Joan Irvine was there to represent her organization, ASACP, which works hard to help get rid of child pornography. Bill Margold was there representing PAW (Protecting Adult Welfare).
