Hustler Hollywood was the first stop of this four-city tour, where Larry Flynt and Jenna Jameson will greet the public and sign autographs. And, what a way to start out! The crowds were humongous!

The event was to begin at 8:00 p.m. Press was to arrive at 7:30. I got there right at 7:30 and the lineup of fans wound all the way through the store, out the door and around the corner. There was no parking to be had and I thought I might just turn around and go home. The security guard waved me away from the parking structure, saying it was full, but woman's intuition paid off. I drove in anyway and waited only a couple minutes before someone pulled out of a space right in front of me! I knew right then this was going to be a good night.

Mr. Flynt and Jenna arrived around 8:15. Prior to their arrival, some Hustler girls (Alyssa Lovelace [see Alyssa in the October issue of Hustler Magazine] and Summer) were posing and others were dancing while a DJ was playing some rap music. The Media was allowed to get close and take pictures for about 20 minutes. Then the line of people started coming through. I was amused by the many different things people brought to be autographed. One guy had them autograph a guitar; one had boxing gloves; most had Hustler Magazines (the April issue with Jenna on the cover), DVDs, photos, t-shirts, Jenna action figure (doll) or other Jenna products.

At first, people were allowed to go behind the table to pose with Mr. Flynt and Jenna, but in order to move things along and also, because I think it was making Mr. Flynt's bodyguard nervous, people could no longer go behind the table. Business was booming for the Hustler Hollywood store. Almost everyone had a bag full of goodies they had purchased.

The atmosphere sure was festive. There was a huge arch of red, white and blue balloons. The employees were passing around delicious samples of smoothies, and later were passing out champagne. There were raffles with great prizes.

A lot of celebs and other people who work in the industry showed up to say "hi." Among them, Mr. Marcus, Ron Jeremy with Chloe (don't remember her last name, but I do remember her gigantic breasts), and Corey Feldman with his wife, Susan.

The signing was supposed to end at 10:00, but the lines were still so long, they ended up signing until about 11:15. My estimated count is that the event drew around 900 people: approximately 700 people in attendance inside the store, and another 100+ gawkers outside the store crowded around the windows trying to get pictures, video or just a glimpse of the famous Larry Flynt and the beautiful Jenna. Additional fans most likely showed up and couldn't find parking or decided not to wait in the long line. Other estimates of the turnout ranged up to 2000. Included in the crowd were mainstream television news media and lots of other media, including Dan Miller from AVN.

There was going to be a gathering afterwards at the Rainbow Room across the street, but I was tired and opted to go home. All in all, it was a tremendous success, and everyone seemed to have a great time, including me.
